This year, Moscow prestigious exhibition space Gostiny Dvor holds The Fifth International Energy Efficiency and Energy Development Forum, which was opened today, on the 23rd of November. The event take place in Gostiny Dvor and will involve more than 10,000 people and more than 100 Russian and foreign companies.
Within the framework of Enes 2016, a Russian-German meeting was held regarding cooperation in the field of energy sustainable development of cities. An international meeting of mayors is also scheduled to be held at the forum between the 23rd and 25th of November.
ENES Forum 2016 is not only the main event in the sphere of energy efficiency, organized by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Government of Moscow but also a professional business venue where representatives of energy companies can meet representatives of bodies of authority. Participants will discuss the mechanisms of implementing the “Energy Efficiency and Energy Development” program, discuss the ways to lower energy consumption in different industries and study the experience of leading countries in the sphere of energy saving. The Forum seeks to popularize the energy saving policy at the international, federal, regional and municipal levels.
Invitations to participate in the event were sent to the Head of the Russian Government Dmitriy Medvedev, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak, Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Urban Planning Peter Biryukov, Head of the Fuel and Energy Department of Moscow Pavel Livinsky, heads of relevant divisions in regions-constituents of the Russian Federation dealing with the problems of energy efficiency, heads of ministries and departments, representatives of federal and regional bodies of authority, science and business communities.
