International Conference on Magnet Technology, Seoul, Korea

We are pleased to invite you to MT24, International Conference on Magnet Technology, which will take place in Seoul, Korea form October 18 to 23, 2015. It is our great pleasure to host MT24 in 2015 which will be the 50th anniversary of International Conference on Magnet Technology.

MT24 will host a Scientific and Industrial Exhibition which will bring together industry, research laboratories and institutions active in magnet technology. Companies and research institutes are invited to this forum to display their activities and latest developments.

SuperOx take part in the event and presents innovative possibilities for magnetic applications on superconducting materials.

The MT 24 is an international forum for all aspects of magnet technology. The program will consist of plenary sessions, focused and special sessions, and oral and poster presentations, integrated with a technical trade exhibition. Authors are requested to submit abstracts and papers addressing all aspects of magnet technology research and development including permanent, resistive, superconducting, and hybrid magnets.

MT24 will cover the magnet technology ranging from large scale magnets to magnets for home appliances. The most powerful particle accelerator, the Large Hardron Collider (LHC) by CERN, couldnot be fabricated without the magnet technology. Nuclear fusion reactor by International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) is another example in which magnet technology played crucial role. During the Conference, there will be an official visit to the Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research (KSTAR) facilities which is operated by the National Fusion Research Institute, Korea. All components and materials related to the construction of magnets are the scope of the MT24. Design method and analysis tool of the magnet itself and magnet system are also the topics of MT24. MT24 will provide you with a great opportunity to see cutting-edge magnet technologies.
